► TROUBLE LOGGING INTO THE WEBSITE FROM A SMARTPHONE
LOGGING INTO THE WEBSITE: If you have a problem logging into the website from a smartphone, this is normally a problem with either:
1. The smartphone's settings, or
2. A problem with the device's touch screen not 'rendering' properly so that tapping the screen does not properly connect to the log in window.
If you are having problems, first try using your "ENTER" key instead of tapping the screen to "press" the log in button on the screen of your device.
If that does not work, try emptying your browser's "cache" and "cookies" and then try again. See info above re clearing

► TROUBLE VIEWING THE WEBSITE OR LOADING WEBPAGES
► If you are not able to properly view the website, or load some of the webpages, this can be for a variety of reasons and, in most cases, has to do with your Internet connection, your computer (or other device) settings, your web browser settings, or you have ‘polluted’ RAM.
Unless our website host (Weebly) is having a problem… that is, the site is temporarily 'down'... the problem is most often related to WiFi connection issues or settings on your device or web browser.
First check other websites to see if they load OK for you and, if they do not, then check your WiFi connection and modem. Try moving your device closer to the modem. Ensure no one else in the house is trying to use the same WiFi connection at the same time. Also check for devices in your area that are known to cause WiFi signal interruptions, for example, microwave ovens, smartphones, etc.
► If other websites load OK for you and you have previously had no trouble viewing the website, you can try:
1. Emptying your "cache", detailed instructions on this site:
2. Clearing "cookies":

Internet Explorer 7
3. Erasing your "history", detailed instructions on this site:
4. And then shutting down your computer for ten minutes to purge the RAM. Then restart your computer and try the website again.
If the website is still not acting properly, or is not viewable, this could mean that our webhost Weebly is having problems… in this case try again in an hour as they usually resolve things quickly when there is a problem.

► HELP WITH ZOOM VIDEO CONFERENCING
Below is our Zoom Test Room to help you become familiar with the program and test your audio and video connection.
If you do not yet have the Zoom App, clicking on this meeting room link will also prompt you to download the program.
NOTE: This is NOT the Satsang meeting link and may be used 24/7 to test your connection.
ZOOM TEST ROOM:
* Once you have finished testing your set up please click on the "End Meeting" button.
➤ To resolve most problems that can occur, quit all your programs and then turn your computer completely off for about 10 minutes before Satsang (this purges your RAM). Before turning your computer back on, plug in your headset or earbuds. Once you turn your computer on, leave all programs off and click on the Zoom meeting link. Once you are into the Zoom meeting room, quit your web browser which would have opened to connect you to Zoom.
➤ If you are using WiFi to connect (an Ethernet cable connected to your modem gives the best connection) ensure no other device in the area is using your WiFi connection, including your smartphone as this will reduce your bandwidth and possibly freeze your connection or disconnect you from the meeting room if it drops too low.
➤ If your Internet connection is not working you can also join the Zoom meeting room by regular telephone using the meeting ID provide on the Sangha Member's What's New page, use this link to get the appropriate telephone number for your area:
You are responsible for any long distance or other charges your telephone provider may charge but there is no charge to joining Satsang this way.
➤ If your Internet connection is good for most other programs, but your video conferencing signal is not good, then you may be having your bandwidth restricted by your Internet Service Provider (ISP) using what is known as 'traffic shaping' or 'throttling'. This is becoming a more common practice by some ISP's and means you are not getting the service you have paid for! You can test your Internet connection using this free test:
If your Internet bandwidth is being restricted over what you have paid for, you can contact your ISP and ask them to remove it as it is interfering with your video conferences, though this may require some insistence on your part.
