Sangha Online Meetings with Ananta
Please do not arrive in the meeting room more than 15 minutes early to enable Ananta to set up her video, etc. before the meeting.
We use the Zoom.us Video Conferencing program which is very easy to use. Normally all you need to do is click/tap on the meeting room link provided to you and you will be guided into the meeting room. If you have not used Zoom before, you will be prompted to download the app. Watch the video below... it's easy!
Please read the following instructions to ensure the best meeting possible for yourself and the other participants.
Your Meeting Room Link is provided in the reminder email that goes out a few days before Satsang and is also on the What's New page of the Sangha website.
Your meeting Host will arrive in the room approximately 15 minutes before our scheduled start time.
Note: 10-15 minutes is normally plenty of time to get yourself in and set up. Please use the time zone converter provided on your meeting's webpage to ensure you have the correct equivalent time. All meetings are posted in London, UK time.
Please wear a headset or earbuds if possible. This helps us avoid audio feedback and gives us a good audio and video recording.
How to raise your hand. Please see the screenshots and info below for easy instructions on how to raise your hand on Zoom for your particular device.
Have an audio or other problem? The meeting host will do a couple of quick sound checks for you before the meeting starts, and if you have a problem in the meeting room before the meeting starts and you can find detailed instructions to help you below.
Turn off your phone/email and other distractions. Bringing your full presence to these meetings serves you, the group and the whole so please put all else aside and switch off phones and email and other distractions. Also, while tea and water are fine during the meeting, please do not eat anything. And please turn your camera off if you need to get up or need to reposition your computer, etc. so as not to disturb the meeting.
Audio breaking up or you are dropping out? This is normally a bandwidth issue when using WiFi so make sure ALL other programs are turned off, including your web browser as it is not needed once you are in the video conference room.
Arriving late or leaving early. If necessary, you can come into the meeting room late or leave early, though it is best to be there for the whole Satsang if possible.
